Her everyday fitness routine has a lot of cardio. They first start of with sprints and runs and this is performed in intervals. In fact, they run so fast that Beyonce can barely speak. Then, after they’re done with the treadmill, Beyonce is immediately made to perform exercises which involve total body movements.
What am I talking about? Lunges, squats and a lot of resistance training. Sounds like a killer routine to me!
Yoga and pilates however are not on the list. Quite surprising, since they are really effective. Another thing which is extremely surprising about Beyonce is her attitude towards her workout. She has actually gone on record saying that she feels sexier when the results don’t show! She has said that she doesn’t want to appear as though she is a regular at the gym, which, if you ask me, doesn’t add up!
When you’re spending all that money on workouts, with a personal trainer, one would think you’re doing it for a reason, right? Plus, let’s not even get started on the dance rehearsals which are killer workouts on their own.
In addition to her workout routine, Beyonce also watches what she eats. Oh and if you’re thinking about that fad when she professed one can lose weight by drinking lemon juice with sugary watery, think again. Contrary to what you might think, Beyonce regularly eats carbs.
Her breakfast consists of complex carbs which are a great start to the day – she eats cereal such as Special k or even granola. Lunch consists of a salad, which Beyonce calls the Sasha salad. This salad comes with a whole lot of veggies along with chicken breast. Think jalapenos, avocado, greens, vinegar and a dash of oil. Snacks for Beyonce are also limited, consisting mainly of fruit and some veggies like cucumber and carrots.
Dinner for Beyonce is just as sensible as her lunch she eats grilled veggies and fish.
